These mediums are designed to be mixed with acrylic paint in order to customize the paint's texture, feel, and appearance. They allow for the addition of texture, adjustment of paint flow, and modification of color properties. Due to the acrylic resin content, these mediums help maintain the stability of the paint film, and can be used in varying quantities.

One of the mediums in the BASICS range is a thick acrylic putty that is ideal for creating texture on sturdy surfaces and forming 3D shapes. When dried, it achieves a hard, stone-like opaque white matte finish that can be sanded or carved. This putty can be used alone, mixed with color, or painted over once it has dried, with compatibility extending to acrylics, oils, watercolors, graphite, or dry pastels.

To apply the putty, use a knife or tool, or mix it with acrylic color to produce a tinted paste. For creating sculptural textures, build up thin layers and allow each layer to dry thoroughly. To prevent shrinkage cracks, it is recommended to let the putty dry slowly by loosely covering it with plastic wrap.
