Liquitex Matte Pouring Medium, 473ml (16-oz)

Pouring Medium is a specially formulated product designed to enhance the flow, consistency, and durability of acrylic paint when used for pouring or dripping techniques. By combining a tablespoon of Soft Body color with a cup of Pouring Medium (in a ratio of approximately 5% color to 95% medium), you can achieve a smooth and seamless finish while preventing crazing and cracking. Adjust the ratio when using Acrylic Ink or Heavy Body Acrylic to achieve your desired consistency.

It is important to stir the mixture gently to avoid creating foam, and if bubbles do appear, allow the mixture to sit until they rise and disappear. Uneven flow heights can result in crazing and cracking, so ensure that your poured surface is level while drying to prevent these issues.
